Chapter History

The Beta Beta Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi was founded in 1926. Since that day we have strived to withhold the four principles that Alpha Delta Pi was founded upon: Scholarship, Leadership, Serivce to Others, and most importantly Sisterhood. We were the second sorority to be founded on our campus and through the years we have grown.

National History

The Adelphean Society was founded on May 15, 1851 at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia. This society was the first secret society for women and coins the phrase "first, finest, forever." Later our name was changed to Alpha Delta Pi, and became known as a Panhellenic sorority. Since Alpha Delta Pi's founding, each and every one of us tries to live by our open motto: "We Live For Each Other."
Many people say that they would die for someone, but we choose to LIVE for each other which is so much more profound. Choosing to live for one another means that as sisters we are willing to go through the challenges that life holds; no matter what happens we will always be there for one another. When everything else fails, we know that we always have each other in Alpha Delta Pi.
